My teammate, Winthrop senior defender Henry Kalungi, was selected as the 53rd overall pick in the 2009 MLS Superdraft by the Colorado Rapids. He left for Colorado yesterday to join the team in preseason training camp. I’m eager to follow the Rapid’s official blog to read about the progress of the team as they get closer to the start of the 2009 season in March. I hope Henry makes an immediate impact!
