Back in Carolina
I’m sitting here at my newly organized desk in my room looking at my new bulletin board that I put up, along with my two prickly plant pals (sweet alliteration, I know) that I repotted for my dorm. I had an early morning, waking up at eight in order to shower, eat and get to calculus by nine. It feels like the same routine as last semester, but better. This time around I know what to expect. After getting somewhat pleasing grades, I feel like my routine is one that works, balancing soccer, school and social things in the correct manner. I should have a little harder time this semester though, I can already tell that my calculus professor isn’t going to hold back… well Dr. Lee (yea we share the same last name, she called me her cousin today) bring it on!

Here’s a little peak into my home away from home. The first thing I did after my two classes today was reorganize all my stuff. I cleared off my desk and pieced all it’s items back on, one by one.. a little OCD never hurt anyone. I also went to Target today to pick up an extra shelf to add to my already built shelf (beside my desk in white).
This week is set up as a little “transition week” compared to what life is really going to be like this semester. My soccer for this week includes a team meeting on Wednesday in the locker room, and then weight training on Thursday and Friday evening. Next week we start our five day schedule.
I also talked to the professor in charge of one of the on campus jobs that I’m interested in. This job entails working in the greenhouse, unsupervised, fun right? Well I have a meeting with her tomorrow at ten, no one has filled the position yet so we’ll see if I get the job!
Alright, well I just wanted to have a quick shout from college. Now I’m off to start some lovely calculus homework. Oh and by the way, I changed the design of the blog, its kind of hard not to notice, but I hope you didn’t mind. I felt with the change back to school, I needed a change on the blog.
