Conference Championship Time
I thought I’d write a quick post before I leave to get on the bus for a three hour drive to Conway, South Carolina. I’m pretty pumped for tonight, but six hours on a bus and only an hour and a half at the field is a pretty bad ratio of the way my time is going to be spent tonight. But, if we leave as regular season champions, the drive will definitely be worth it. I’ve got a grocery bag consisting of three items for my trip on the bus: a footlong sandwich from Rock Hill’s finest, Sub Station, a two liter bottle of lime powerade, and a pint carton of peanut-butter whoppers. (Wallgreen’s was having a 50% off candy sale).
Well off to the coliseum. You can check the score later tonight by going to winthropeagles.com. Our media guy is usually pretty quick at posting the story for our games on the website, he does it on the bus on the way back from the games.
