Early Night
It’s going to be an early night tonight. My room mate and I are exhausted. I’m in bed right now about to fall asleep, college has caught up with me. Things are going well though, both with soccer and academics.
On the soccer side of things, I’m running every day now, along with my rehab. I get to wear cleats at practice and do some ball work. Each day I progress a little more. I’m probably two to three weeks away from training with the team. Also.. on Sunday we blanked VMI 4-0 in our third conference win. We’re sitting at 8-3 overall, with a 3-0 conference record. Topdrawersoccer.com has us ranked 46th in the country and in the NSCAA’s poll, we’re 9th in the South Atlantic Region.

Academically, I have been thinking about changing my major. I emailed my advisor this weekend to tell him that I wanted to change my major and he told me to contact my new department. I contacted Dr. Kasparek with the exercise science department and she invited me to join her and her intro to exercise science class today. I loved it. She talked to me after class and went through the details of the major with me. She thinks that this major is right down my alley since I play for the men’s soccer team. She gave me a form to officially change my major and I’m going to turn it in to the registration office tomorrow. I’m pretty confident about this decision. Both biology and exercise science lead to my ultimate goal in physical therapy, but I think I’m going to enjoy exercise science a lot more than biology. Exercise science deals more with athletics and sports medicine, the stuff that I’m interested in. I’m also dropping my graphic design class… three hour classes on Tuesday and Thursday nights have not been enjoyable for me at all, art is just not my thing.
Next semester should be fun, but hard.. I think I’m going to be taking around seventeen or eighteen hours, ouch.
And also, I’ve added an email subscription form on the right side of the blog. If you subscribe, this allows you to receive an email anytime I add a new post. This feature is also anonymous, meaning that I wont know what email addresses are subscribed because it’s through feedburner.com. But anyways, try it out if you want!
