Waiting
I’m sitting here staring at my computer trying to figure out how I’m going to accomplish all the things that I have to do today and this week. I’m trying to make a plan, because if I don’t, I’m bound for failure. I think I would be just fine if there wasn’t for this one thing that’s holding me back.. a flat tire.
Yesterday morning I was leaving for physical therapy and in the parking lot, I hit curb and popped my front right tire. Luckily my civic has a spare tire in the trunk, so I was able to temporarily replace it. Discount Tire Co. in Rock Hill is closed on Sundays, so I had to wait until today to fix it. Their website has a tire search function, and they carry the exact tire that I need. This morning I woke up and headed to Discount Tire only to find out that they didn’t have my tire in stock, but that they had it at the local manufacturer and could get one by this afternoon. They are supposed to call me when they get it today so I can go drop off my car. I have a class at two, rehab/practice from three to six, and a class at five. On top of this, I have a graphic design project due tomorrow and study hall hours to get tonight. There is no way I can get my tire fixed tomorrow because of class the entire day. I have no idea how this situation is going to work out.. but I really hope it does, soon.
On a better note, topdrawersoccer released its national poll for this week. Our 3-1 win over Liberty this weekend has Winthrop at #47 in the nation now.
