Fall is Starting to Grow on Me
I’m sitting outside the student center…71 degrees, perfect blue sky, light breeze. It’s such a perfect day. I’ve never really been a fan of Fall. The shorter days, cold weather, and time change have never really won me over. Being here though, right now, makes me love it. I can’t believe I’m waiting for the air to get a little bit chillier in the coming weeks. I’ve never liked cold weather. I guess it’s an acquired taste. Anyways, now that I’m here at Winthrop, I love it. I’ll keep you posted on the details of my new favorite season.
I’ve got about thirty minutes left to study out here but then I have to leave. I’m going to Charlotte to get my x-ray! I’m getting pumped, I hope I don’t jinx myself by bringing my right shoe with me in the car… O well, I’m not worried, whatever happens will happen. Hopefully though, in about 4 hours, I will be out on the field at practice without my boot, learning the fundamentals of walking again with my athletic trainer. What a life.
