Monday night and my friend Job

I went to my first RAMP meeting tonight, Reaching Athletes Moving People, which is an athletes only bible study. It’s from 9-10 in the coliseum on Monday nights.. I didn’t go last week because.. well I forget why. But I really enjoyed tonight. I feel like I really needed this, and now have rearranged my priorities. There were about 12 of us tonight, it was a nice small group. We’re studying the book of Job right now, whom I really associate myself with actually.. he has endured a lot of suffering in chapters 1-4 but hasn’t lost faith yet. I feel like I’m Job with my broken foot.. having to suffer and watch everyone else play while I’m stuck in my cast and out for the season. I think He put this book in front of me tonight to show me that all I have to do is keep faith, and everything will be taken care of. Funny how things work themselves in front of you.

Another crazy-busy Tuesday tomorrow. Weight lifting, biology, biology lab, writing, therapy, practice, then finally graphic design. Oh my, I’m not really looking forward to it.. even though I find myself having the greatest days when I’m always busy.

I also had an appointment with the team chiropractor tonight, Dr. Muschik.. who is a former Winthrop soccer player.. now he refs games in the MLS, which is pretty sweet.

I’ll leave with you a glimpse of the t-shirt I’m going to buy.. I’m hoping to make a statement on campus.
