The Weekend
It was a pleasant weekend. Although we lost today in overtime to Appalachian State (I don’t feel like elaborating… read about it here), I still enjoyed my weekend. My parents came up to Rock Hill on Saturday.. I picked them up from their hotel and we went to a local sports bar to watch the UGA/South Carolina game.. it was odd because I’m always used to watching the Dawgs play with a pro-UGA crowd in the background. On Saturday though, there were a lot of dirty Gamecock fans.. I’m proud to be a Dawg fan. 14-7.
We had dinner on Saturday night and it was really nice being with my family again. It has been almost six weeks since I left Atlanta. I’m probably not going to be able to go home at all either.. at least until Thanksgiving. I’m not quite sure how I, or my parents, will handle that. O well, it’s life. Being with them this weekend definitely made me miss them more though. Maybe I can sneak in a weekend trip home soon, if my soccer/life schedule permits.
As for the upcoming week.. it’s going to be another busy one.. filled with due dates, rehab, physical therapy, weight training, chiropractors, trying to find time to sleep.. you name it. It’s a busy but good life though, I swear.
