Win in OT

We beat Elon today 2-1 in overtime. It was a great game. We went up early 1-0 and Elon tied it 1-1 right before half time. The second half was very sloppy.. but we turned it around in overtime. We’re 3-1 on the season now.. I’m expecting that we crack the Division 1 South Atlantic Regional rankings this week when they come out on Tuesday. I would be surprised though if we showed up on the national rankings this week, even as an “others receiving votes” team.. although we did beat two very good Southern Conference teams this weekend. Last week UNCG beat Duke 1-0.. and we beat UNCG.. so you never know. If we keep up this winning streak this weekend though, against USC Upstate and App State, then continue playing well the next weekend against Davidson and No. 24 Charlotte, we should definitely get some national attention.

Meanwhile at the dorm, my roommate and I made our own loft beds out of the wooden bed frames they gave us here, rather than paying $150 to lease regular lofts. Ingenious.
