When it rains in Rock Hill

Water. I’m sick of water. It was raining literally the entire day today… making me late to my first class, braking my phone, getting my air-cast uncomfortably soaking wet, and making me miserably cold in every class. I have some serious bad luck since my foot broke. It just keeps on coming. Not to sound pessimistic or anything, I’m just stating the facts. My car was parked in an overnight parking spot last night, so I had to wake up early to get it moved so it wouldn’t get towed. I drove around the entire campus looking for a parking spot. Nothing. It was insane. The only spot was handicap.. which made me so mad. Because I AM freaking handicapped right now. I have to work three-times as hard as the normal person to just walk somewhere. I’m sick of it. So anyways, I drove back across the street and parallel parked into the same non-parking zone.. praying it wouldn’t get towed. It didn’t, luckily. Somehow I found a spot right next to my dorm.

On the way to my bio class, the rain was pouring. My phone was in my pocket, as usual.. and I guess it got too wet. Because now the keys work at all. It turns on, but it’s not usable. I can see that I have six text messages, but I can’t even read them. The rest of my first day of college classes was fine, except for the homework in writing 101 I got. Oh well thats normal, it’s college. Practice was dreadful though.. Rock Hill decided to have a downpour again, but harder.

Anyways.. it was an alright first day of class. I’m guessing it will get a lot harder. Never mind, I know it will. I can already see what’s in store for me the next few months. But I’m ready. Crutched and ready.

Oh yea. T-minus 2? weeks until I can start walking in my air-cast-boot.. hopefully.
