It Continues

And my quest for having the best bracket continues this evening. Big things happened last night as I went 3-for-4 in last nights games, and my under seeded final four pick, the Kansas Sate Wildcats, continued their journey towards the final four in a DOUBLE overtime win over Xavier last night that kept me up way later than I wanted to be. But now the Big-12 team is only one win away! I’m trying to stay in the top 5 percent of all the brackets on ESPN but tonight will be a true test of my bracket’s worth against the best of the best brackets. I have Duke and Baylor winning, the remaining two teams I have left for these round of the sweet sixteen.
My indoor team won again last night, posting a 4-0-0 mark as group play ended last night. We now have a number one seed for the men’s league tournament that starts next week. I’m pumped! Playing indoor is quite fun. I love the smaller field, the faster pace, and the fact that technical ability trumps over everything else in indoor.. unlike full field soccer where physical ability plays more of a factor. Indoor is the best way to work on your touch and conditioning. While definitely having to compete physically as well, indoor is a fast paced game where playing quick with your feet succeeds! I can’t wait for the single elimination playoffs.
This weekend awaits lots of studying during daylight hours, and then crucial ELITE 8 watching during the evenings. T’will be a great weekend indeed. The weather is supposed to be superb too.
Well, off to weather and climate class, get my test back today.. I hope it’s good news! AH I’m nervous!
Later peeps.
PS - So Shade and I have been sitting in the SLC by the Jittery Joe’s coffee shop, a very busy place in the morning and daytime. We sit here pretty regularly and more times than not a UGA tour group for prospective students comes by and passes us while on their journey around campus. For some reason, ever since I’ve seen the tour groups pass us, I feel the need to wave to them and make them feel welcomed… Shade doesn’t like this very much as it not only draws attention to us from the tour group, but also the surrounding UGA student body. But come on, these prospective students should have a good impression of the campus and amenities of UGA as well as a great impression of the student body! Anyways, I will continue my greetings to the tour groups as long as they pass by my sitting area. Go dawgs.
