Religion Political Science Overlap

Religion Lecture: A society based off individual feeling as moral code would not function correctly.

Political Science Lecture: Conservatives believe the values of American society have an Anglo-Protestant moral core.

In essence, our society must have a religion (any religion, not just Christianity) to base its morals on, or else all the other concensus values of Americanism (the constitution, liberty, equality, work-ethic) would not exist. Without religion, where do morals come from?

Interesting how my religion class is overlapping my political class.. in the form of conservatism.

Anyways.. morals are good. They come from religion. If you are a conservative, you most likely agree.. according to the theories expressed by my professor. Hmmmmmm.
