15 Days

The end of Thanksgiving break.. is now. I’m not really feeling the whole pack up and head 4 hours north on 85 this afternoon to get back into the study-cram-stress routine at school. The worst part is, I’ve procrastinated on ALL my work over the break.. and have a paper due tomorrow by midnight and a chemistry test Tuesday… NOT good!!

But the great news is, I had such a perfect break this week. I love being home with my family and Sheida’s family. We had a successful Atlanta Half-Marathon on Thursday morning, as Sheida, my mom, my dad and I ran 13.1 miles down the heart of Atlanta, it was amazing! However, I may have a stress fracture in my left foot.. but that’s a whole other story. After running, I think I may have eaten the most food I’ve ever eaten, EVER. We all had Thanksgiving lunch at the James’ house and then Shade and I went to her house for even more of a feast Thursday night!

Sheida and I wrapped up our Thanksgiving festivities with an awesome concert on Friday at The Masquerade downtown and saw one of our favorite bands, This Providence.

And last night Shade and my family decorated our Christmas tree while watching OUR bulldogs bring it to the Yellow Jackets, what a sweet victory last night.

Now I’m sitting at my desk in my room, clothes everywhere, trying to make a “limited” bag of clothing because I’m only going to be back at Winthrop for 15 days, then I have to pack up ALL of my stuff for a rather large transition to the University of Georgia in January.

This is another blog post in it’s own that I will elaborate on after finals, but because of my constant injuries that I’ve encountered over the past 3 semesters, and the location and reputation of the University of Georgia, I will be a bulldog student, physics major, come January 7th, 2010 when classes start in Athens. I’m saddened to leave all my teammates at Winthrop but also very excited for what lies at UGA for me next semester. Anywho, I just had to let you guys know.

Have a great week and I will be back soon!

Go dawgs.
